Here Are Final Instructions for Paddlers!

Saturday is our 2018 Canoe/Kayak Trip on the Fox River. The response has been amazing. We are expecting about 50 paddlers this year!

It's so rewarding to see so many people enjoying the Fox River. We do these trips to get people out into the Marsh as well as the watersheds around the Vernon Marsh. We're much more inclined to protect and treasure something we love and appreciate!

Well, I can't believe its here, we're just a little over a week and a half away from our 2018 Canoe/Kayak Trip. The response has been amazing. Thank you all for talking-up the trip! A special welcome, once again, to our friends from the Schussboomer Ski Club!

If you can't make it this year, we'll miss you....but there's always next summer! Remember, we do these trips to get people out into the Marsh and into the watershed. We're much more inclined to fight for something we love ...

  Important! One of the Friends of Vernon Marsh objectives is to protect the Vernon Marsh.  A 4 lane divided highway through the Pebble Creek Environmental Corridor north of the Marsh is a threat to our watershed, the Fox River and the Vernon Marsh!
