  Important! One of the Friends of Vernon Marsh objectives is to protect the Vernon Marsh.  A 4 lane divided highway through the Pebble Creek Environmental Corridor north of the Marsh is a threat to our watershed, the Fox River and the Vernon Marsh!

To restore native plant and wildlife, enhance the quality of visitor outdoor experiences. To educate the public on the important role Vernon Marsh plays in protecting, cleansing and recharging water resources, and the preservation of wildlife and open spaces.
