Thank you to all who attended our Annual Meeting on December 5th! A special thank you to Natanya and Adam from the DNR. They shared some of the amazing work being done in the Vernon Marsh. They are greatly appreciated! We also wanted to announce the results of our annual Board of Directors election. Congratulations to Tom Sherman and Lynn Preston who were both elected to a new three year term on the Board. Thank you Tom and Lynn and congratulations!

Dear Friend of the Vernon Marsh,
We hope you will be able to join us at our annual meeting this year on November 14, 2018 at a new location; the Mukwonago Community Library. Come meet the people that take care of the Marsh. Learn a little bit about them and their roles in helping make the Vernon Marsh such a special place.
We will also be accepting memberships and renewals for 2019 at the meeting (checks or cash please). Your membership helps us with our mission in so many ways. During this past year we have been busy raising money for our Land Purchase Fund in order to help expand the Vernon Marsh Wildlife Area. Please consider renewing your membership for 2019! Your entire membership fee is tax-deductible.
We will provide light snacks at the meeting. See attachments for more information.
I have included an Agenda and a Board of Director's ballot with this email. If you are a member (paid in 2017 or 2018) or lifetime member and cannot attend the meeting on November 14th, please vote by mail. Send your ballot to the address listed on it. Or, you can scan it and send it back to me at this e-mail if that's more convenient.
By the way, we are always looking to expand our Board of Directors, so if you are at all interested in actively helping to protect the Vernon Marsh, please consider nominating yourself or a friend! Contact me for more information at the email or number below.
Please send questions to this e-mail address, email@example.com, or call Allen Stasiewski at 414-507-8358.
Thank you, and hope to see you at the meeting.
Wishing you all the best,
Board of Directors, Friends of Vernon Marsh
