October 30, 2024 "Soft opening" 5 Mile Hike on our new Pipke Boardwalk Trail in the Vernon Marsh.

Free Event

Time: 10 am to 12:30 pm

Be one of the first to hike this beautiful new trail!

Where: Meet at the Marsh Parking Area (Bears Den)

off of Hwy NN in Mukwonago. Entrance is next to the

RR crossing near the water tower.

Details:  The trail is a 5 mile circle route.  If you'd like to cut this hike a little shorter you can walk with us to the boardwalk sections and then return by the same route. The trail surface may be soft and rutted (construction induced) in a few areas. The route is relatively flat.  This hike is rated "moderate" due primarily to this hike's length.  Our pace will be casual.

Wear appropriate hiking shoes and clothing suitable for the weather.  It might get into the high 70's on Wednesday. Bugs shouldn't be a problem but please do wear sunscreen.  A hat is always a good idea.  Also, make sure you bring enough water.  There are no formal restrooms along the route.  Bring a rain jacket if it looks like we might get some showers.

Please RSVP to 414-507-8358 if you plan on hiking so we know to expect you!
